ISLAMABAD, Dec 22 (INP-WealthPK): Pakistan’s sports goods registered an increase of 21% during the July-October period of the financial year 2021-22 to reach $105.120 million, compared with $87.07 million in the same period last year. Of these, exports of footballs grew by 17% to $50.148 million compared with $42.780 million in the comparable period, Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment, said in a Twitter message. He said that Pakistan’s exports had the fastest growth rate in South Asia in November 2021 as the country’s exports grew by 33.5% compared with Bangladesh’s 31.3% and India’s 26.5%. Mr Dawood praised the exporters for their hard work and great achievement.
