Eligible CBR members will get plots on priority basis’

September 14, 2020

ISLAMABAD,  (INP): Central Board of Revenue (CBR) Cooperative Employees Housing Society is better than any other cooperative society in the twin cities. The remaining eligible and qualified members of CBR will get their plots on priority basis. The audit system of the society is commendable. A group of exploiters will not succeed to shine its politics at the cost of the reputation of the society.

These views were expressed by President of CBR Housing Society Altaf Ahmad Bhat while briefing the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), CBR officers, employees and other members of the society here.

President Bhat said that CBR housing society is now one of the best cooperative societies among top five in the federal capital which is the blessing of Allah upon the members and present management of the Society.

"I want to clear that every qualified society member has a right to contest election and become the part of the management to serve the members. We will never allow ony one to defame the society to fulfill their ulterior and hidden agenda", Bhat added.

He said that when the present management took the charge in 2011 and there were only Rs8 million deposits, Rs40 million liabilities of contractors and at the same time we were facing the shortage of one thousand kanal land. In 2011 the society had only 1300 kanal land in its phase two which is now near about seven (7000) thousand kanal. These all achievements are the success stories and we are proud of it.

President Bhat further said that it is the responsibility of the society members to join their hands to expose exploiters who are working round the clock to defame the society for their personal gains.

Chief patron of CBR Housing Society Fahimul Haq Khan hailed the contribution of the management and urged them to continue their services for the betterment of the society.

Secretary of Society M Saleem Khan presented fact-finding presentation on power point which was appreciated by participants.
