ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (INP): The Election Commission of Pakistan has expressed its satisfaction at the conclusion of a peaceful bye election for NA-120 Lahore on Sunday. The entire electoral exercise would not have been possible without assistance provided by various execution authorities. In this connection, Pakistan army and Punjab Rangers rose to the occasion. Contribution of Punjab Police and other government officials is duly acknowledged. Tributes are also due to the presiding Officers and other polling staff. The District Returning Officer and Returning Officer and their staff manifested professionalism and integrity throughout the entire exercise. Monitoring team of ECP remained alert. Role of Responsible media is duly appreciated. Last but not the least, voters and resident of NA-120 deserve special accolades, a press statement of the ECP said. INP/AH
