​Makkah, June 11 (INP): GPH Director, his eminence ash-Shaykh Dr. 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn 'Abdil-'Azeez as-Sudays expressed high regard for the Islamic conference convened in Makkah by the Muslim World League under the heading "Conference on the Declaration of Peace in Afghanistan" on Thursday [10 June 2021]. It comes as part of actualizing the brotherhood taught by Islam, striving to achieve reform and rectification between Muslims, and aiming to avoid disputes and differences. ​His eminence commented that all the teachings in our pristine religion of Islam complete the best of character, spread tolerance among communities, and strengthen the true foundations of Islam in all parts of the world. He also drew attention to the role that scholars of Islam have in extinguishing turmoil and clarifying that Islam aims to protect people's lives, reform communities, and bring about unity among the people of Islam. ​Ash-Shaykh as-Sudays also emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gives much care to conveying the true message of Islam - which is founded upon tolerance and moderation - to the entire world. He further expressed his appreciation for the role played by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - King Salman ibn 'Abdil-'Azeez aal Saud - as well as by his deputy - Crown Prince Muhammad ibn Salman ibn 'Abdil-'Azeez - in serving Islam and Muslims.
