February 23, 2023

Managing Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KP TEVTA) Prof Abdul Ghaffar Khan said concrete steps are being taken to provide the young with high-quality technical education and skills to satisfy the demands of the market. He made the remarks at a tree-planting event at the Dera Ismail Khan Government Polytechnic Institute for Women, which was well-attended by students and faculty.

Prof Ghaffar said that despite having limited resources, the provincial government is working to meet the demands of technical educational institutions in the province so that young people will not have any trouble obtaining a job. Millions of students, both male and female, gain respectable jobs each year via technical education in a variety of technologies, he added. Moreover, he said the KP TEVTA offered free education to students from minority Christian, Hindu, and Sikh communities as well as lodging with monthly stipends.

He said that every institution is being solarized in order to give professors and students a supportive atmosphere for learning. Similar to this, it is made sure that current computer labs and other machinery and equipment meet worldwide standards so that students may receive all learning facilities while bearing in mind those requirements. Prof. Ghaffar also pledged his unwavering support for finding solutions to the institution's and the teachers' issues.
