RAWALPINDI, Sept 27 (INP): The Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday inaugurated 705-meter long tunnel in Mohmand Agency and Army Public School & College (APS&C) in Swat. According to military media wing ISPR, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the agency and inaugurated Nehki Tunnel and 14-km long Mohmand Road. Talking on the occasion, the Army Chief said that such kinds of uplift projects will pave the way to enhance trade with Afghanistan. “Development projects are the only way for dispensable and long lasting peace,” he said. Earlier Army Chief has inaugurated Army Public School and College in Swat as he also visited Kanju Garrison, ISPR said. In his address, COAS mentioned that the provision of education most vital to the youths for the establishment of peace in the society. He termed the construction of APS in Swat was the gift for the people of district. The tribal elders and notables thanked the army chief for establishment of school and college in their area.
