Given the current economic crisis, the All-Pakistan Chamber Presidents Conference has been scheduled for January 16 by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). According to RCCI President Saqib Rafiq, the conference's goal is to get all of the chamber presidents under one roof to develop a coordinated plan of action to address the current economic climate. He noted that economic activity has halted because of the uncertainty.

He praised the National Security Council's debate on the economy and stated that inflation was now the largest problem since it had wiped out the purchasing power of ordinary residents. "We hope the government will solve traders' complaints," he stated. More than 50 chamber presidents, women's chamber presidents, and small chamber presidents will attend the three-day meeting, according to Saqib. At the conclusion of the meeting, a joint statement will be released.
