Balochistan Government’s Spokesperson Farah Azeem Shah said that the government of Balochistan is committed to improving the standards of living of the Baloch people. She said that the royalty percentage from the Reko Diq mine for the people of Baluchistan has been raised from 2% to 5%, adding that the project will be launched in the first month of 2023.

She continued, “Baluchistan and its people have been ignored in the past by successive governments. However, the current Chief Minister of Baluchistan Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo is a determined man who will turn the fortunes of the province.” Farah Azaam Shah said that the people and the Government of Balochistan strongly condemn the recent terrorist attacks in the country, adding that no one would be allowed to disrupt peace and development of the Balochistan province. “There would be no compromises on the sovereignty of Pakistan and Balochistan,” she said.
