Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani has invited Argentinian traders and businessmen to explore attractive investment prospects in Pakistan. Pakistan is a land of opportunities for trade and economic activities, he said while talking to Argentinian Vice Foreign Minister Pablo Tettamanti. Pakistan also acts as a hub for connectivity and trade, particularly with the landlocked Central Asian countries, he said.

It is endowed with a variety of natural resources, including the Gwadar Seaport, which can link several surrounding countries for growth and advancement, he added. Zahid Durrani also emphasised the enormous tourist potential of the country. He said that although Pakistan is currently dealing with the effects of disastrous floods, its people are determined enough to overcome this obstacle.

Convener Pakistan- Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group, MNA Dr Muhammad Afzal Dhandla stressed the need to strengthen the parliamentary collaboration between the two countries. He said that interactions between the legislatures of the two countries are essential to their growth. Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti stated that Argentina may benefit from the skilled youth in Pakistan, since the majority of the population is young.

Vice Foreign Minister of Argentina Pablo Tettamanti lauded Pakistan's richness of natural beauty. He extended his support for the Pakistani people, who are now dealing with the tragic effects of recent disastrous flood. He stated that combating climate change is a global issue that requires cooperation from all nations.
