The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has made history by doubling its profit to Rs. 409 million during fiscal year 2022.

President of the AJK bank Khawar Saeed said the achievement was the result of the increase in assets, including deposits, and remittances during the first half of the year. 

Chairing a review meeting held at the bank’s head office, he said the hefty profit increase was also made possible due to the patronage of the AJK Government and the sincere efforts of the Board of Directors. He especially lauded the efforts of its Chairman Khan Abdul Majid Khan, besides the bank’s teamwork.

Khawar said the bank proved that the best business and profitable financial results could be achieved by working with dedication, coordination and sincerity.
