An agreement has been signed between Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and M/s Waqas International for organizing the 1^st International Housing Expo, 2022. M/s Waqas International is an event-management company that will help the ICCI to make the 1^st International Housing Expo a success, which is being organized by ICCI in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Works.

The agreement was signed by the President of ICCI Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari and CEO of Waqas International Muhammad Waqas Khan at the ICCI Headquarters in Islamabad. According to the agreement, M/s Waqas International will be responsible for all the operations of the housing expo.

They have been given the complete management including the booking of stalls. During the ceremony, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that Pakistan had an increasing population, which necessitated the growth of the housing market. He said it is very important that local and international investors enter this market with new ideas centring around affordability and sustainability.

He hoped that the 1^st International Housing Expo will be a good platform for people to find new opportunities and meet new partners. Muhammad Waqas Khan said that his company will do its best to complement the efforts of ICCI to make the housing expo a success.

He said he will personally oversee all the management operations so that it goes down as a landmark event in ICCI’s history. The signing ceremony was also attended by Senior Vice President of ICCI Faad Waheed, Vice President of ICCI Azhar ul Islam Zafar, Convener Sheikh Amir Waheed, ICCI Expo Committee and other notables.
