Rawalpindi (INP): The 2nd meeting of Board of Studies, Department of Mass Communication, Rawalpindi Women University unanimously approved BS Mass Communication curriculum on Friday. Dr. Asma Zahoor, Head Department of Mass Communication chaired the meeting at Rawalpindi Women University. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Khalid Sultan, Chairman Department of Mass Communication, NUML Islamabad, Dr. Bakht Rawan, Associate Professor of AIOU, Islamabad, Dr. Sadia Ishtiaq, Assistant Professor, FJWU, Rawalpindi, Dr. Atif Iftikhar, Assistant Professor, NUML, Islamabad, Zel-e-Huma, Lecturer, Muhammad Naseem Anwar, Lecturer, and Ghulam Maaz Jan, Lecturer of Rawalpindi Women University. The meeting was started with the recitation of Holy Quran. The chair welcomed the participants of the 2nd meeting of Board of Studies and briefed them about the academic activities at the department. She emphasized that the role of the members will be useful and constructive for the development of the department and its academic programs. Thereafter, the regular agenda was presented before the Board for discussion. The board unanimously approved BS Mass Communication curriculum with minor suggestions. Later on, the suggestions have been incorporated as per the recommendations of the board. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
